Great location. Awesome pool. Plenty of easy pull through parking. We had a 36 foot gooseneck in and out everyday with no issues. 5mins away from LBL Ohv area. American owners on site. No 5 star hotel but it's cabin/lake vibes. Rooms where clean could use some updating but what place can't? Definitely will stay here again. We'll worth the price. I don't think you will find a cheaper place closer to lbl.
We stayed for 10 days in Cabin #6. Very impressed overall by all facilities and things to do around the cottages! Cabin was very clean, rustic cabin feel and beautiful grounds. Pool was amazing! Thanks for a great trip and can’t wait to return!
Our first trip to Land Between the Lakes. Our stay was amazing. The rooms are nothing fancy but very clean, has everything you need, and the best people run it! Our kids couldn't get enough of the playground! It was convenient to places to eat and access to the LBL, where there is plenty to do! Just Beautiful! What a wonderful couple of days we had and hope to see you again soon!!
Great location close to LBL, clean, quiet Owners live on site their polite friendly family is accommodating and make you feel like part of the family plus a lot of amenities including cleaning stations for fish and deer great place to get away to locally or for a trip reasonably priced rustic cabin feel clean and cozy
We had the most amazing stay at Aurora’s Kentucky Lake Cottages! From the moment we arrived, everything was spotless, cozy, and welcoming. The cabins are well-maintained and stocked with all the essentials, and the peaceful setting near the lake made it the perfect place to relax and recharge. The new sun sail over the pool was a great touch, especially with the summer heat—it gave us a shady spot to lounge while the kids played for hours. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay, and you can tell they truly care about making your experience great. We also appreciated the thoughtful extras like firewood delivery and on site ice. It’s clear that a lot of heart goes into running this place. We’ll definitely be coming back—and bringing more family with us next time! Highly recommend to anyone looking for a quiet, clean, and family-friendly lakeside retreat.
Owners are amazing and we’re so accommodating for our family. Grounds were cleaned and maintained and cabins are cozy. The park and pool kept my kids busy the entire stay and was also well maintained and cleaned. Will return!
Absolutely loved staying here with my family for the 4th of July weekend! The pool was amazing! The owners are phenomenal! Plenty to do at the resort from an outdoor pool table, air hockey table, ping pong table, corn hole, volleyball, a playground for the kids, the pool with a slide, and fire pits. The cabins were very clean and sleep plenty of people, they had everything we needed. Towels, baking sheets, pots, silverware and utensils and dishes and a coffee pot plus filters and a grill for your own cabin! Going there with my family will forever be a tradition. I highly recommend staying here!
The room is clean, close to many attractions. The swimming pool has a partial cover which made it very nice. This was our second stay; the cleanliness, and service was amazing and consistent which made it pleasurable. Will most definitely be back
